First Direct alternative when on hold

Just phoned FD for the first time in ages. Was put on hold 'due to high volume of calls' Instead of irritating music they play beach sounds. Waves breaking, gulls & children playing.

Its amazing. I've never heard anything like that anywhere else. I was almost sorry when they answered

Does anywhere else have an enjoyable music alternative

I got this a few weeks ago when I called first direct and thought it was a problem with the line

I think there’s three versions, but can’t remember what the other two are.

I heard that today. I was most surprised at being on hold. It has so rarely happened in the past.

Actually midsomer that's a good point they normally answer almost immediately.

I've got to phone back tomorrow I'll see what I get then. But it was definitely far more pleasant than some others subject you to
