Build a Bear Parties

Can someone who has thrown a BAB party or had a child attend a BAB party please tell me what happens (games etc?) and whether it would be suitable for a 5yr old’s birthday party? Thanks!

We did one for my daughter’s 4th birthday. We went at 10 on a Sunday so we were mainly the only ones there. The party leader was really good at guiding their choices and running a couple of games. We walked them to the nearby macdonalds afterwards. Was great fun!

How long did your daughter’s party last for please?

The party leader will decide on the games depending on the age of the child and the space available. They will also spend quite a bit of time stuffing the bears and make that extra special for them. First thing in the morning is the best time, while it is still quiet in the store, as then they have a bit more room for running around. If you allow the guests to choose an outfit as well as a bear, that helps fill up time. From what I remember, parties usually last 1-1 1/2 hours. I used to work at BABW and did a lot of parties.
