On the 3rd row of creating a heel for my sock using the winnick mum pattern. Does it mean I have to slip 1, knit 1, slip 1 until the end or - slip 1 then knit 1 slip 1 until the end?

Any knitters about? Could you help me figure this out?

Slip 1 then knit 1, slip 1 to the end.

Your second choice. Slip one, then knit one slip one till the end. You only repeat what is between the asterisks, the first stitch stands alone.

My understanding is you repeat hte bit between the ** so sl1 then k1sl1to the end

I think you repeat the part that is between the asterisks? So slip the first stitch and then do knit 1, slip 1 to the end 🤔

Slip 1 then

Slip 1 knit 1 Slip 1 knit 1 Slip 1 knit 1 Slip 1 knit 1...... Till the end of the row.

You only repeat the bit that’s between asterisks so slip one, then knit one slip one knit one slip one knit one slip one, carry on like that till the end of the row just repeating the pattern.
