How much spending money for a week in Tenerife?

Hi, could anyone give a rough guide as to how expensive Tenerife is? We go to Los Cristianos next week as a family of 4 and we were thinking of around €800 for spending money? We are self catering. Does this amount seem doable? The only thing we are planning to do is Loro Parque so the rest of the money would be for food/drinks and treats.

I guess it depends on your spending habits, type of food you’re planning on cooking and what sort of holiday you’re expecting. We have a 7 and 1 year old so usually go all inclusive but still end up spending around €500-€700 but if we was self catering we’d probably budget at least €1000 if not loads more but we like to take the kids out to show them different things. Eating out can get quite expensive!

How much self catering are you going to do? Is it every meal so would involve big supermarket shop at the start of the holiday taxi back to apartment or eating out at least 1 meal a day.
There are any number of cafes which do a fixed price meal for 10 euro but that's 50 euros per meal with drinks included. There lots of 3/4 euro breakfasts in cafes as well. What evening entertainment are you thinking of is it a bar or hotel entertainment with the kids or sitting on balcony with a supermarket bottle of wine. Add these up and and in ice creams etc.
Only you can decide but I think your cutting bit close

We went to Playa la Arena and we took around £1,000 and spent up all inclusive (2 of us), but we did have days out and meals, trips etc. Meals were dirt cheap on the front near our hotel. Suppose it all depends on what you're wanting to do whilst you're there

Oops sorry, that was for 10 nights!

It's about a hundred euro a day, plus Loro Park, so it's not loads, but you can probably manage on that if you need to - I'd get plenty of drinks, snacks etc from the supermarket to keep the cost down and aim to eat one 'proper' meal out each day and have easy or snacky food in the accomodation as well.

Eating out in Tenerife is quite cheap, and there are plenty of low cost places to eat and you can probably get menu del dia in the daytime in many places, so if you have a late lunch, you probably won't want a full meal again later.

You'll run out of money if you always get more than one course, lots of cocktails, lots of drinks or ice creams in convenience stores rather than at the supermarket, or eat out in posher places.

Thankyou everyone, we did do Fuerteventura last year for the same kind of budget but having never been to tenerife not sure what to expect price wise 😃
