Interdental brushes what am I doing wrong?

I bought the smallest ones I can find but they don't go in between most of my teeth, they just buckle.
Also how do you do the back ones? Do you force your mouth open or do you have your hand in your mouth to do it from the inside?

Start with floss? Your teeth may be too close together

They don't work for me either, my teeth are too tightly packed. I just use floss.

I've tried floss with much the same problem. I also hate it, I cant get my hands in position to do the back teeth at all

I had to get the hygienist to show me how to do it properly, bending the brushes helps but also getting the right angle, then practice, practice.

I use these floss sticks to get to my back teeth. We also have TePe Easypick dental picks and their orange interdental brushes (are these the smallest?).

DS has TePe purple brushes for cleaning around his braces and a soft single tuft brush for his gum line.

Our bathroom looks like a dental store!

That's a good idea. With the little I have managed I've already dislodged some food Envy and yet I brushed my teeth thoroughly this morning.
