Anyone got this and want to split the £100k prize?! GrinWink

I've got Park Lane, I'm sure they do millions of Park Lanes and only 1 Mayfair but worth a shot, surely!!

This is a form of lottery that should be banned. Shame on you for going there in the first place.

Zoflorabore · 23/04/2019 18:20

It's crazy op, I got quite a few of the brown ones that are a medium extra value meal, can't remember the name of it now but the other one we need is Old Kent Road.

There are apparently 2 million of these meals up for grabs Grin
It's a bloody con.

I've never heard of anyone winning anything at all of value.

Justaboutawake · 23/04/2019 18:22

Sorry I’ve just checked and I’ve got park lane too!
Will give you half of the apple pie I won though Grin

I remember when they did this when I was in my first year at uni. (In the 90s) We got so utterly sucked in! We won loads of free food, but nothing else. We would loiter around waiting for people to finish, then scavenge around their rubbish to see if they’d left any stickers behind ShockBlush

I know someone than win £10,000! It's encouraging gambling and obesity in the same sentence... not sure how they get away with it really.

But I'm also a sucker for a free soft drink.

Last year, according to my DD, there was a group of teenagers at our local McDonald’s and one of them won one of Minis. I was totally oblivious to the fact they were sitting next to our table whooping and hollering about it... 😳🙄

FusionChefGeoff · 23/04/2019 18:25

The other tickets require me to check something online which is far too much like hard work!

I was hoping for a free apple pie! Never mind. Me and my shame will survive Grin

MyDcAreMarvel · 24/04/2019 00:32

I won two apples pies Grin

Redcherries · 24/04/2019 07:22

We have won, hash browns, fruit pies, various money off websites I’ve never heard of, 1 meal and 3 now passes. Pleased with the now passes as we wanted to try it 😂

NotMeNoNo · 24/04/2019 07:30

Every set has one "rare" card so yes there will be be millions of Park Lane and a handful of Mayfair. Last year there was a lost of the rare cards on money-saving expert. We collected quite carefully as DS has quite a lot of one/two McDonald's items (ASD fussy eater) and we won not a bean from the stickers or the codes.

FiremanKing · 24/04/2019 07:40

Yesterday my husband brought home a sugar doughnut for me that he had won as an instant win.

It was delicious!

BarbaraofSevillle · 24/04/2019 08:32

Oh come on, it's obvious there will only be one or a handful of the rare stickers that complete a set, it's not a secret, are people really that naive? It's just a bit of fun and obviously designed to pull in customers.

Moneysavingexpert publish the list of rare stickers every year, as do other websites.

I admit to going a couple of times more than I would, which is probably about 3 times instead of once while Monopoly is running, and I will have lunch there once this week, but after that, I probably won't go again for months, as I can take it or leave it, but they are useful for a quick cheapish hot lunch while out on the road.

DPs also been about the same number of times and we've saved the stickers and do have all the stations except the rare one, plus a few more, so far I've won a Now TV pass, which is good and a useless discount voucher for some online tat shop. Friend won two food items within the same visit, but obviously there's only going to be one Mayfair winner, so of course, almost no-one will know who it is.

I seen an idea on SM where someone suggested that McDonalds branches should have a "monopoly box" where people can donate their free food stubs, for homeless/needy individuals. I think it's a great idea and wish it would gather steam and actually come to fruition. I imagine thousands of those stubs are binned regularly and lets face it, McDonalds can afford them being utilised more often!

I won an apple pie Grin
