Several years late to the party... I know everyone is different in their tastes, but apart from personal friends, who do you find interesting / entertaining on Twitter?

Paul Bronks makes me laugh: mobile.twitter.com/SlenderSherbet/status/1106858987817979905.
I also like the Seamus Heaney Daily quote: mobile.twitter.com/HeaneyDaily.
This one is good on all thing WTO: mobile.twitter.com/DmitryOpines.
And for a daily dose of art and culture, you can't do much better than this: mobile.twitter.com/PP_Rubens

I follow @BarnacreAlpacas for a daily dose of cuteness and fluffiness.
(This year's babies will be along soon)

Lots of museums and libraries, National Trust, English Heritage etc.
Oh and Felix the Huddersfield station cat - so get linked to other famous cats (I don't particularly like cats!)

DH reckons I follow an eclectic mix 😃

Travel updates. Football scores when not at home. Theatre and cinema updates are useful too.

I follow Twitter for politics, so I would say.... Larry the Cat, Seth Abramson, George Conway, Led by Donkeys...

Meretricious · 23/04/2019 19:24

Larry the cat.

Calvin and Hobbes - love my daily cartoon strip!

Just been through this morning's feed:
It seems that as well as lots of local sites, creative and work related stuff, I follow these:

For a stop and pause moment:
My Favourite Bench and
My Favourite Image

Bit of culture (although they can go over the top with the number of tweets):
#WomensArt

Bit of nature - not all year round:
various peregrine falcon nest sites around the country. Chicks are hatching currently and some nest have live webcams (e.g.Nottm Trent Uni)
House Martins UK, people are reporting sightings as they return
Rutland Ospreys. Nest at Rutland Water

AngryWHstaffer - for their take on Trump, what is going on in the WH and especially Trump's tweets

A quirky, but acquired taste in museum self publicising is The Merl - their story of the chicken in trousers went viral.

As you see I spend too much time on Twitter! But often I see a tweet that catches my eye and I might then follow that group, person or organisation. I often have a cull of who I follow tho.
