Hi, I have a 4 month old with a stoma bag and I’m a bit worried about his eating at the moment. We are giving him 260ml x5. When he gets to having about 60-90ml left, he keeps taking it then pushes it out with his tongue and gets frustrated. Last night, he had a feed just before 10, we settled him down and then went to bed ourselves shortly after and he slept right through until 9am this morning but did not cry out for his feed. He never normally sleeps this long without waking for his feed during the night. I’ve spoke to the Drs a couple of times and they advised that it could be a viral infection even though he doesn’t have a fever or any other symptoms... he’s due to have an op in just over 3 weeks and needs to be a certain weight for it so really don’t want his not eating to affect that... I might be fussing over nothing but if anyone could give me any advice I would be really grateful? Xx
