My cat is missing

Just that really. He's only one but has no road sense. He's been gone since Friday. It doesn't look good 😢

Our cat used to disappear often in her younger years. She once sneaked into Husband's car, he was unaware until Scotch Corner service station on route to Scotland. She has also been found in a trailer in a haulage yard 100 miles away in Suffolk. Plenty of other occasions when she disappeared and returned days, even a week later looking disheveled and hungry. Keep checking Vets, notify chip company. I bet when it rains or cools down your cat will wander in like nothing has happened.

I don't know if you've put bedding and/or litter out, even contents of your hoover - cats have a very strong sense of smell so this can help.

Ime our vet said us out shouting every night got our car mangled boy home. Missing one freezing Oct for 11 nights. Came back to his db howling at the window as he dragged his broken leg home...

Please don't take this the wrong way, but found cats are often reported to SNARL, sometimes alive, often not. It might be worth contacting them.

Jesus that's grim. Hopefully he's not been brutally abused and then killed by a psychopath.

Great news! ours disappeared last year for a long weekend and was found through Facebook page. Someone had taken him in as he looked hungry, by the time I went to get him, he was lounging on their stairs and completely ignored me 😂 cats are weird 😉

So relieved for you! Any chance you can cat proof the garden or keep him in? Purely on the road sense comment nothing else - my neighbours had to do this with theirs after a near miss and we live rurally.
