Spotify or Amazon Unlimited

DD has an echo dot and would like to listen to music.
So we need to upgrade from the basic Amazon music.
What would suit us better,Amazon or Spotify?

We have the basic Spotify (with ads,the free one).

At the moment DS is 9 but it won't be long before he wants to listen to stuff and DP and I could use it too.

We have Amazon Prime,iPhones,1 shared iPad and the echo dot in the household.

Help!

They're basically identical, and either can be used as the default music service on the Echos.

I prefer the Spotify app on the iThings by quite a lot over the clumsy Amazon Music app so I'd go Spotify myself - and in fact I have :)

Spotify all the way. I have a premium account and have different accounts for family members.
