Has anyone ever used or know anyone having dealings with an a Italian transport company called BARTOLO TRANSPORT S.R.L ?

This company acts as a 3rd party for buying and selling goods, in which i'm looking at purchasing a vehicle.

If so, any information would be much appreciated.

FiremanKing · 22/04/2019 20:41

Sorry. Scam if you were selling and the buyer was sending a vehicle courier. Not sure if it’s different buying

Honestly walk away. There are millions of cars for sale in the UK, you don't have to risk a dodgy company.

BarbaraofSevillle · 23/04/2019 09:47

I think foreign vehicle sales are a common scam. DP was once looking for a car on ebay, that was what he wanted, but a bit cheaper than he expected.

He says to me 'what do you think the scam is here then' and we agreed that it was likely that you'd send the money and never see the car, so he messaged them, saying that we would fly over (this was Italy too, and one of those places where you can get to on Ryanair for next to nothing) pay cash, take the car and drive back. Unsurprisingly, we never heard back from them...

@suzuki400drz
Hello, so sorry to here that. I always knew in my mind this could be a scam, but was so intrigued as how they was going pull off this scam, so I did lots of research and ask lots of question.

Was your tractor also based in Italy? (Well supposedly in Italy)

Regards
