What can I do with a big bag of memory foam bits?

DS had a single memory foam mattress topper. I washed it, and only later noticed it said that you can only wash the cover. The inside of it has fallen to bits - not tiny pieces, great big chunks. There’s no way it will ever be a mattress again and before I bin it, I wondered if there was anything else we could do with it?

Ideas please!

Firstly I need to know how big your washing machine is to fit a mattress topper in, washing it without wrecking your washer.

Use it to stuff a cushion cover.

It’s a slightly larger than normal washer, and the topper was only a thin one. And I gave it a good shove.

Dig a pit, fill it with foam chunks, then construct a narrow beam over it. Give your children broomsticks with huge chunks of foam on each end, and let them play gladiators.

Tawdry that is genius.

However my bag is slightly too small for a gladiator pit.

I'd make a memory foam pillow. All you need is a pillow case to shove it in to. Sew it up afterwards. Done! If you want the chunks smaller obviously make them smaller before you stuff the pillow case.

Aww. Well, does your garden furniture need bouffing up? Neck pillows all round?

Buy fabric glue and paint then make your own squishies!

Make some soft toys and neck pillows.
