Wtf is going on under my armpit? (Pic included - sorry)

This very strange scene appeared about three days after using Veet under my armpits. I am fairly sensitive to it but had no immediate reaction.

My armpits have always been a bit sensitive and bumpy, but the skin has never broken like this before.

Any ideas? I will of course see the GP, but they’re shut today.

Perhaps some follicles have become blocked or infected after Veeting. I'd let your hair grow a bit then shave instead for a while.

You've irritated the hell out of it. Try thick plain cream e.g. Aveeno twice daily and don't very or shave until it's healed. I wouldn't wear deodorant on that side for a few days.

I had a similar reaction to the sensitive Veet, but only on my armpits, I could use a flamethrower everywhere else without a problem.

You can't use Veet or any thioglycolate mixtures any more.

You're sensitised and it's caused chemical burns.

It does that to me too.

I had this reaction to hair removal cream, on my upper lip and bikini line.

It melted my skin but not the fecking hairs. I was left with raw, weeping skin which not ideal on either your face or nether regions.
