Oh dear Op....it looks like bed bugs. Have you moved recently? Or been given any second hand furniture?

Alicewond · 22/04/2019 02:24

Looks like fleas to me, have you pets or have you moved recently to a place with uncleaned carpets?

RobinPax · 22/04/2019 06:35

I agree. Bed bugs or Fleas. Do they itch?

BusterGonad · 22/04/2019 06:43

Are they in areas that are exposed in bed? I agree that they look like bed bug bites, BUT I've not seen them in real life just by googling as I thought I had them (was mosquito bites). Bed bug bites are very much like mosquito bites but they are in a line of formation where as mosquito bites are random.

Bed bugs or fleas

nrpmum · 22/04/2019 06:51

Bed bug bites don't have a 'hole' in the middle better experience

Have you had the window open? Mosquito bites?

concernedforthefuture · 22/04/2019 07:08

Fleas

Shouldershrugger · 22/04/2019 07:15

Bed bug bites op. I'd recommend getting a professional in to look.

fleshmarketclose · 22/04/2019 07:28

I'd guess fleas as they usually appear as groups of two or three. Indorex spray, treat any animals with access to your home, wash bedding and cushions and throws on 60 degrees and vacuum paying attention to the edges a couple of times a day (put a flea collar in the hoover bag if it has one)

We dont have any pets have lived here for a year and a half and dont have any second hand furniture. How the hell have we ended up with fleas 😭😭😭

We get these every spring/summer. They’re just bitey wee insects! If you’ve been outside at all in this very warm weather they’ll be out to play. Bit of calamine lotion or salvon should work fine.

Stripyhoglets · 22/04/2019 10:23

Have you been to a hotel you could have brought bed bugs back with you. But if you've been.outside it could just be outside bitey things

concernedforthefuture · 22/04/2019 11:26

Flea eggs can lie dormant in carpet for ages. I also had a friend whose family was being bitten by fleas in spite of owning no pets. Turns out that the neighbour's cat was sleeping on my friend's outside doormat. The kids would sit on the step to put shoes on / off and were being bitten then.

You are probably getting bitten now because there isn't an animal to host them.
