Can you make a decent living as a yoga instructor?

Obviously not expecting to be wealthy but is it possible to live comfortably as a yoga instructor? I plan to teach separate classes for adults and children, possibly two classes per day in church halls/dance studios or other rented space. Long term goal is to set up a studio and offer classes as well as teacher trainings. I live in the south west and there is currently not much in the way of competition for adult yoga classes and absolutely nothing for children.

There is defo a good market in it. Not just regular yoga. Won't be easy to start it off as a full time thing though I'd imagine.

Have you thought about pregnancy yoga, mum and baby yoga.

I've done Pilates before but hadn't done yoga till I decided to try it when my girl was a baby. It was through a franchise called yogabellies, I really enjoyed it. Was nice seeing all the babies and getting to meet other mums and do little yoga exercises with baby as well as some for all the mums. It was £9 a class (had to block book 6 and pay upfront) and it lasted about 50mins to an hour. I'm in central Scotland. There were usually around 10-12 at each session sometimes more.
