Will these pork kebabs still be okay to eat?

When we last had a BBQ last summer we bought some chinese pork kebabs. They didn't get eaten so we froze them and they've been in the freezer ever since. The use by date is 4th July 18 :o We're having a BBQ today and remembered the kebabs are still in the freezer, will they be okay to eat or should we not risk it and bin them?

Yes they'll be fine if they've been frozen

I'd eat them.

Yes. You can pause the use by date by freezing. Flavours may deteriorate after so long, but I’ve never noticed!

Yes they’ll be absolutely fine to eat, from a safety perspective. Flavours or texture of the meat might be slightly worse for wear, but I bet it won’t be noticeable. I’d happily eat it.

Well we've eaten them! They smelt fine and tasted fine, and no-one has been sick yet so we'll be fine Grin
