13 month old DH has started walking recently and wants to be on the go all the time (that bit we expected!)
But she often wants to do the same route each time, for example she wants to go out of the doors and follow the garden wall round and out and back in the front door. She will want to repeat this route over and over and over again until a new route catches her fancy!
Indoors she will walk backwards and forwards from room to room.
Have other toddlers done the same and is it just her exploring and wanting to use her newfound walking skill in the a way that makes sense to her, or is it a red flag? If we try to divert her or move onto a different activity when she is in autoroute mode she gets very upset (but only for a bit, like if we stopped her from playing with a dangerous object she wanted to play with)
She is very sociable and communicative.
