My teddy-I had it pretty much from birth
My "floppy doll" 6month sized soft bodied doll
My sewing machine-a turn the handle original Singer.

I still have all three.

I had one of these big trikes with a boot (child of the 50s/60s) I loved it - I would put a teddy or a doll and a snack in the boot and that was me outside riding around all day Smile

Anything I was allowed to keep because my mother was a great one for ”you've not touched it in ages and xyz wanted one so I gave it to her” (this was an ornament!) or ”it was just laying on your bed so I binned it” (nightdress case) or after frantic extensive searching be told ” you finished that book so I put it in the charity bag last week” Sad

If I had been able to keep my space hopper more than a month that would have been nice!

My teddy
It was second hand. Sent to me by Rich great aunt after a child left it in her motel.
It must be 70 years old now and I still have it

I had a Garfield sweatshirt that had been my brother's which I absolutely loved.

The Colin Dann 'Animals of Farthing Wood' book collection.
A jumper from the Seal Sanctury near Skegness which I wore until it was way too small for me.
A cushion with Jason Donovan's face on it

The black patent shoes I had aged 5 & ‘Now we are 6” when I was 6 - live has been a disappointment ever since!!

an orange knitted, slightly misshapen duck, who had no eyes when I got him- aged around 7-8 I sewed two blue button eyes on him. i was never one for dolls etc, but I did love that duck.

a very beloved dog chewed it up Sad - loved that dog too, so couldn't be too annoyed with him, but i was very sad.

often think about that duck, and think of commissioning another Grin

My collection on badges/pins.
My t-shirt an aunt brought back from Australia.
My doll who cost a lot of money and I got her one Christmas and was so happy I took her everywhere for years.
My pink shell suit. I wanted to wear it ALL the time.

I once had a tiny silver ornament of a life-like frog. It was tiny, the size of a ten pence piece and fitted snugly in my hand. I kept it in my pocket and under my pillow at night.
Didn't have it for long, maybe a couple of weeks, but I loved it!
