With this warm weather I've got my sun dresses out of winter storage. I've tried them all on and look pregnant. I weigh the same usual. I try to eat a low fat diet, cut out sugar walk a lot. Can't do sit-ups as Im suffering with sciatica at the moment. I realised that I have been drinking a lot of diet coke and wine over the winter. I need help or a new summer wardrobe which I'd rather not do.

If you aren’t exaggerating, maybe get a check up as looking heavily pregnant can be a symptom of ovarian cancer.

You can look more streamlined with supportive underwear. Not those strain to get on ones that suck everything in and make your face turn blue, just decent form fitting undergarments.

I agree to get yourself checked out by a doctor.

tierraJ · 20/04/2019 12:48

Definitely go to the gp as can be a symptom of several things

Walnutwhipster · 20/04/2019 12:54

Please get checked out. What you say describes DM recently. She has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of ovarian cancer. The oncology nurse described it as the silent killer. She is not in pain. There is nothing they can do for her and we've been told she has six months. The swelling was a build up of ascitic fluid.

justasking111 · 20/04/2019 12:55

Please get checked out as others have said.

Was coming on to say - I don't want to frighten you and there may be a number of reasons, but my Mum looked like she had a pregnant belly when she had ovarian cancer.
You are probably fine, but Do go and make sure, to reassure yourself.

AuntieStella · 20/04/2019 13:06

Are you large all over?

Or has most of you stayed much the same but your belly has ballooned? I agree that seeing your GP soon wouid be the most important thing to do.

MortyVicar · 20/04/2019 13:54

Not ovarian cancer, but before I was diagnosed as coeliac I looked like I was expecting triplets.
