If you were on a soap or TV reality show would you be fired due to past Social media comments?

In the past people have been kicked off reality TV etc when silly or not so nice comments they have made on social media have resurfaced, some from when they were younger teenagers. I’ve recently read that it’s happening to soap actors/actresses now.

So if you just got a job on Eastenders, for example, would you be fired if someone looked through all your past social media comments?

No, I never post anything serious/racist/any kind of phobic. Anything I post is usually a share of a dog on a sledge or similar so I think I'd be fairly safe.

If the criteria for the sacking was posting cringey or unfunny things then yes never posted anything controversial though

Aye unless they make cat pictures a hate crime I'd be safe too.
