That thread about how to spot a keeper.......

Is it just me or does anyone else think that a lot of the signs are either just the normal behaviour of a nice person or a bit control-y?

I don't know. I shall go and read it.

I read about the first half of it. Can't see anything control-y there myself. Just people going out their way to be kind, loving and thoughtful.

I think that’s kind of the point though Bertrand - many of us had been in shitty relationships prior to that and this was the first sign that our new partner was actually just a normal decent person, ie a keeper! It’s not about the grand gestures, which can be a hallmark of controlling or love bombing, it’s about those little moments when someone went out of their way, just a little bit, to do something nice for you.
