Hi all!
I had my first pregnancy scan yesterday and it was heartbreaking actually. I was told that the gestational sac was large compared to the Fetal pole.
My cycles range from 28-36 days so went privately to get dated and was told that the baby appears to be 6 weeks although according to my LMP i should be 7 weeks.
They could see the baby, the yolk sac and a heartbeat but the consultant said that there’s no hope and to rescan in 7-10 days.
I’m going crazy, I can’t find any info online. It’s all related to a small gestational sac or an enlarged one but with no yolk sac or heart beat.
Has anybody had this or heard of this. Any information would be a godsend.
