I get a Freeprints Photobooks done every month. It means I can easily add text by the photos and don't have to faff about getting the photos printed and then putting them into the album.

Photobook - Photobox always have great offers and the books are easy to make. I have just made and purchased a 100 page A4 book for £40.

I use Printastic to make photobooks. Really easy to use.

I used Freeprints for some random pics I wanted physical copies of which was great, but didn’t like their photobook.

With freeprints I usually make the book go to checkout and then wait. If you leave it a bit they will send you an email with discount.

I like photo books. They take up less space on a shelf and the photos can be smaller. Photo albums with printed out photos are so bulky.

I use snapfish mainly though have tried others and make photo books. They often have deals.

I do one main one each year with the 'highlights' of the previous year.
And then after a special holiday or event I may do others.
Teen Dd loves the annual one and looks forward in January to see what's made 'the cut.' And the special holiday ones are lovely to reminisce.

All other photos are stored on my computer but obviously not really seem so much.

The photo books are fairly thin and sit nicely on the bookcase. I found photo albums too hefty and messy.

How many photos would you normally put in a year in each photo book. I have thousands of them I have been narrowing them down but it's so hard to chose the best ones xx

I normally do a 2-4 pages per month, depending on what has happened. Less if its a quiet month , more if we've had days out or a holiday. But still limited. think I normally have a book of around 26-30 pages. Some pages will have lots of images on, some may just have 1 or 2.

You do have to be selective though. I take 100s of photographs on my big camera, and many on my phone. I have 1000s on my computer.
For the books: No repeated type shots or selfie style, all linked to an event or occasion, just the odd random snapshot. And be honest - is it a decent shot? If not, it doesn't go in.

My annual books are the year's 'highlights' so the ones that really show what we were up to and doing each month.
