Is this plant dead? See pic

It suddenly occurred to me that I've been keeping and watering a dead plant for years. It's an Aloe Vera plant.

Do I just need to cut off the brown bits? Or is the whole thing a goner?

Looks amazing to me! Yes, cut off the brown leaves. Does it need a bigger pot?

Looks amazing to me! DonPablo does it? I have no idea if it needs a bigger pot, I should consider that. It's the only plant I've had that has lasted longer than a month. I'm not a very plant-y person, all I do is water this one once a week.

Deffo needs repotting.

Repot in a gritty potting mix, and remove any dried leaves. It's fine!

Needs repotting and maybe splitting up. Definately still alive though.

Take off the brown leaves & re-pot. The cactus man I take my Rainbows to visit says they (cactus/succulent) need new pots when they look fit to burst out of their old ones, and only water between March-August & mine are all ok...so far!

Ok thanks, so I need a bigger pot. I hope this isn't the thing I do that kills it.
