Does sun cream go off? I've got some from last summer but not sure if it's still okay to use? Xx

Yes there will be a picture of an open pot and a number next to it which will indicate how many months it's ok for after first opening usually they are 12 months

I've used it for far more than a year old and never burnt even with pale skin in the Mediterranean in summer.

I don't think opening it or not opening it makes much difference, it's not like it's actually sealed when you buy it.

I think there is a strong intention by the manufacturers to encourage people to worry about it being off and throw it away and buy some more.

Mine is sealed. I buy mineral screens so physical barrier and less likely to go off. Chemical based sunscreens oxidise.they may well be less effective or can cause skin reactions if they're over 12 months post opening.
