Wish I had taken more videos of my children

My first son I have videos from a few days old till he was 3 years. My second son I only took a few videos in his first year and nothing till he was 8 years old and my daughter I only started taking videos when she was 5 months old as I didn't have a camcorder and my phone was playing up. I wish I had of taken more of all three of them. I've been worrying recently that I will forget how small they were x

You’ll never forget. Videoing and photographing every moment is a relatively new thing. I’ve got no videos of my own childhood from the ‘80’s.

I wish i had more pictures from my childhood. Video wasnt possible . I saw a meme once and its true "take the picture" add to that the video . Its only once the time has gone that we wish we could have it back. Start taking more now. Lifecake is a great app.

Me too but only because their df is dead and I would like to see more footage of him with dc.

Maybe less is more but I still wish I had more! I have a brilliant one of my DS aged around 4 singing ‘she’s so lovely’ to me and jumping on the bed 💓 😂 My heart melts every time I watch it x

I think we all wish we had taken more photos and video. I took lots and lots but I still grab copies of other people's photos.
Are you able to ask members of your family for copies of any photos or video they have? There's probably a lot of material in the wider family.

There are none of me, because I'm old. I do not feel scarred by this. Take lots now if you need to, but your kids won't spend hours watching them when they grow up.
