D-mannose- please talk me through it

I’m so confused, I’m at my wits end with having a uti every other month- do all the usual suggestions and no help so I’m looking at d-mannose now.

Am I supposed to take it every day as a preventative or just when I first feel the tingle of one?

Are sachets better than pills, vice versa or are they much the same?

The dosage on some of the ones I’ve seen seems so vague (things like between 1 and 3 pills one to six times a day Confused)- how much do you take if it works for you?

And any particular brand good?

I’m fully hoping this to be the answer to my prayers as I’m so sick of the pain and feeling dirty and other symptoms, as well as the time it all takes to go to the docs so much for them.

I found it really good.

Initially as a treatment so one tab every two hours. But they are all different dosages as different sized pills so you need to read the instructions on the packet you have.

Having had relentless uti / kidney infections I use D-Mannosse as a preventitive. I take tablet form. If i feel it turn to a uti I up my dose but generally take one capsule a day. Hope this helps.
