I’ve just dug up someone’s wedding ring in the garden!

I don’t think it’s particularly old, I’ve lived here for 10 years.

Previous owner died. Not sure what to do with it! It’s huge on me and not my style at all!

Charity shop? It doesn’t have any hallmarks so I’m not sure it’s particularly worth much

If no hallmark it won't be gold, I don't think. Even if very polished with use.

I don't think you need to be digging for bones, though. I'd expect the ring to be attached to one if that had been the case.

Oh, I'm so disappointed. I was hoping you'd found DH's wedding ring which he lost in the garden back in 1990 after putting in plants. We dug them all up again but it never turned up & he had to get another one. But that one's too sparkly for DH, unfortunately

Maybe it’s the photo but it looks ginormous.

I’m an L on my wedding finger and an N or an O on my middle finger and have average sized hands.
