Can anyone tell me why these marks are? I can not remove them at all

In my car I have a glossy black panel that houses the cup holders etc. It's covered in these grey spots. What are they? I've tried removing them with wipes, sprays, hot water and as soon as the gloss plastic dries again, they re appear. It's nothing spilt or anything so nothing definitive to remove

If you can get a hold of the pink stuff, give tgat a go.

Gotten rid of many tough stains with that

Try a damp magic sponge or Bar Keeper's Friend.

It's not still covered with a plastic film is it? I've done that many times

About to say the same as TheFutureMrsB - In your photo I think I can see the outline/edge of the plastic film coating that is used to protect any glossy bits. Peel it off and it will be lovely underneath

Yep I bet you can peel off a protective layer
