How to display DCs art and certs

Hi all,

My kitchen walls, cupboards fronts and hallway walls are becoming plastered with assorted artworks and the odd school certificate.

Just doing a spring clean (get me!) and am looking around wondering how to get things looking less cluttered.

I have 3 kids so - canvas each? And stick everything on those? Except canvases aren't for sticking things on. Or a cork board? But that would look probably more cluttered than just things stuck on wall.

How do you do it in your house?

I take a photo of everything but only the most special items are kept, the rest get binned. If I kept it all I'd have a house full.

Display book for each child for certificates and then photograph artwork - keeping only the special ones in a box file once they are off display.

Thank you for the alternative ideas.

As I said though, I'm wanting to keep stuff up on the wall so really looking for ideas of how to display nicely. Maybe that's impossible though and I need to either embrace the eclectic mix on the walls or take them down.

I’d use Blu tac, but think about arrangement, size, colour and possibly mounting key pieces. Change the displays fairly often to avoid cluttering.

The old fashioned photo frames with the glass front that clips on.

Weekly or monthly rearrangement so the displays change with most recent bits of work/ certificates.

Then a nice box each for stuff to go in when done. Photo album for certificates etc.

Could get string and pegs to create an art line in their rooms/play room?

I've seen someone superglue pegs to a board and peg all their artwork.

I use the Ikea net curtain wire. Will try and post a pic.

Two of the wires. One above the other. Sorry not the best photo but all my washing is in front of it!

I have these and they're great. Do a clear off once every half term.
