Sorry you are having a difficult time.
I’d really recommend Schitt’s Creek on Netflix. I didn’t think it would be for me but it is funny and sweet.

Also the Detectorists (not sure if on netflix)

I watched both during a hard period and they were a great distraction that I looked forward to.

I second Schitts creek.

James Acasters stand up series is very good. I'm not usually in to watching comedians but he is a bit quirky.

Hitch - Will Smith film, very easy

Sorry you will be having a difficult time Flowers

The Good Place. I found it easy to watch.

Matilda

Second The Good Place and also Brooklyn 99. If you’ve got Amazon Prime, I also recommend Parks & Recreation and The Office (US). They’re all created by Mike Schur so have a similar humour style. There’s also a podcast that goes with The Good Place, which is a behind the scenes look of the show. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to that.

Dumplin', Wonder the Duff, Valentines Day, Isnt it Romantic, About Time are all easy, distracting watches. Hope next few weeks are easy on you, take care.

Gilmore Girls - very homely and uplifting! 💐

Ohhellothereladyface · 16/04/2019 19:28

I’m So Pretty is lighthearted and pretty funny, hope you enjoy it.

I like Friday Night Dinner for easy watching

HoneyWheeler · 16/04/2019 19:36

Parks and recreation - honestly the best and funniest thing I've ever seen. On Amazon Prime

Violetroselily · 16/04/2019 19:56

Yes to Friday Night Dinner - theres more series on 4OD or whatever it's called these days

Happilyacceptingcookies · 16/04/2019 20:31

A few more series

Master of None is so heartwarming and very funny

Josh, Miranda and Cuckoo are all easy viewing

Jane the Virgin is sweet, unrealistic and very addictive!

CaptainMarvelDanvers · 16/04/2019 20:34

Queer Eye.

Rustyigloo · 16/04/2019 20:37

There are a few on Netflix that I really enjoyed because they showed the power of friendship and supporting people and left me with a feel good feeling and those were:
The Berkeley Marathon and The Dawn Wall.

Disclaimer : I am not the sort of person who is normally into extreme sports of any kind but do give it a chance.

LadyWithLapdog · 16/04/2019 20:40

Gilmore Girls - I watched this with the DDs, you can leave it rolling in the background and can catch up at any time. Some 7 seasons, so plenty to watch. I’m sorry you’re having a difficult time.

AgentCooper · 16/04/2019 20:40

I second Captain’s suggestion of Queer Eye. It is so pure and lovely and positive. And funny as well. And Antoni is an absolute ride.
