I've seen the film but never the musical. If you've seen it what did you think?

TIA

My dsis has just been to see it and enjoyed it. She said it was worth a watch!

I really enjoyed it!

To see if my taste reflects the sort of thing you might like, I..

Loved:
Lion king
Book of Mormon
The play that went wrong (went to see with dc and they were howling with laughter)
Matilda
Wicked
Joseph

Liked
Beauty and the beast
Aladdin
Warhorse
Hamilton

Meh
Les Mis
Miss Saigon
Mary Poppins
CATS

I think I might be a theatre heathen.

I really enjoyed it - more so than the film!

Best musical I have seen so far. It was fantastic

I loved the film and don't generally like live musicals. KB was amazing - GO!!

NuffSaidSam · 16/04/2019 23:29

It's great.

Really great atmosphere too (although that depends in part on the audience obviously!).

Similar vibe to Everybody's talking about Jamie.

I found it really boring. I didn't think there were any memorable songs. I've seen quite a few plays and musicals over the last couple of years and it was definitely the worst.

BUT I did feel that I was in a minority of one in the theatre!

My teenage dd loved it and the audience was very enthusiastic.

I love musicals but found this one meh. Loved the big "all on stage together singing and dancing" scenes but there was way too much dull soul searching monologue.
