Anyone sold a mattress (barely used, just don't like it)

Hi,

We just bought a new one but I hate it and have been sleeping on the sofa for over a week now. It's stupidly firm and it has to go. It's about £500 though and I wondered if anyone has sold theirs. Obviously v new and in fantastic condition (we have a mattress protector plus it is only weeks old). King size etc. I know I could try FB but has anyone had any success with this or knows of places that buy them.

Worth asking just in case. It's a mega amount of money to waste but it's just like lying on a mortuary slab to me. DH loves it.

Not trying to sell it here btw, reading back suggests I am! More wondering if it is even possible or we just have to chalk it up to a bad experience and expensive mistake. Agghhh.

Yes, sold ours on eBay. It was a spare mattress in a guest bedroom. Good as new and gota decent price for it

Have you tried seeing if the shop / brand will take it back? They often have a trial period guarantee now.

Thanks both. I thought DH had asked them as he called them but turns out he had not. FFS, this has been a massive bone of contention in our house. He is now calling them tomorrow allegedly. This is his one thing to sort hence the irritation.

If not, sounds like eBay is worth a shot. Good to know and much appreciated 😃.

Not sold but I have bought spare room mattress from eBay.

Emphasise how new it is and you might get a buyer but you will lose quite a bit - better than nothing mind!

Well, shop won't do anything (which I suspected) so I guess Ebay it is. Thanks all :)
