Where to buy cheap cheerful individually wrapped eggs for an egg hunt?

I'd prefer to buy hollow ones, and I'd prefer bright colours rather than plain gold / silver - presumably at least one of the supermarkets is doing this sort of thing. I've seen that Waitrose are doing them but they seem to be out of stock everywhere!

Sainsbury’s had them yesterday

Try Lidl or Aldi?

kaytee87 · 15/04/2019 16:17

Aldi

I got some in Aldi. There are 29 in the basket, I think for about £3.50ish?

outpinked · 15/04/2019 16:19

I always get the M&S ones.

QuimReaper · 15/04/2019 16:24

Amazing, thank you, I'll try Aldi! That's a much better price than the Waitrose ones!

Thanks Cwtch! Are those about the size of chicken's eggs?

Or buy a mild and melt some milk chocolate and make a big batch. Wrap in foil.

Quietlife333 · 15/04/2019 16:42

Lidl have large bags of small like crepe egg sized ones with lovely colourful wrappers or slightly larger ones in plain coloured wrappers

TalkinPaece · 15/04/2019 16:43

We do a giant Easter egg hunt every year in our garden for about 50kids and end up having to get about 350-400 and we have had them from all of the above.

This year thankfully it's my DSs birthday Easter weekend so we are only doing it for 20 kids

ThatLibraryMiss · 15/04/2019 19:18

36 for £3.99 from Aldi if they still have them.

Titsywoo · 15/04/2019 19:33

Tesco do 42 different coloured ones for £4 or £6 can't remember which!

yaela123 · 15/04/2019 19:37

Sainsburies had 25 for £3 last week

Ah the pound shop! They sell bags of mini crepe eggs and the Cadbury ones.
