Does anyone here use the First Bus app?

I'm taking the girls out today & tickets are slightly cheaper on there.

Does anyone know if you can use more than one ticket at a time on it (so a day ticket for me, and then one each for the girls)? I can't find anything that says I can so am reluctant to pay for them in case I can't.

Tia :)

I hate using multiple tickets. I do mine then have to figure out how to return to the ticket wallet to select a child ticket and activate it, then do it again for the 2nd child. All whilst the queue builds up behind me and the machine doesn't recognise the code - aaaargh. An easier way is to buy one of the group day tickets as that includes you all on the one ticket.

Ha, yes, I can see that happening and it's likely to be a busy bus today with it being the Easter holidays & there being an event on.

Do you know if you can sign into the same account on multiple devices? I'll download it onto dd1's phone and see. Then she could have her own on there.

Thanks @Imfinehowareyou

You can't have the same account on more than one device (or you couldn't three weeks ago anyway)
It's something to do with the ticket only being valid for one person. I tried but ended up getting my son his own account

Well, that's not going to work out very well then. It says you have to be 16 to use it Hmm. But the kids' tickets are cheaper too if you use it.

It says you can share via text...I shall text dd1 hers and have the flap about how to use it at home Grin

First bus where I am have a family saver so adult plus children all on one ticket. I use that and it's way cheaper.

Todaythiscouldbe · 15/04/2019 08:44

Does it? DS isn't 16 and he used it ok. I must have missed that while I was angrily working out how to use it 😁
Good luck....Oh, and make sure you have plenty of battery life on your phone....been there, done that too 🤦‍♀️

lucysmam · 15/04/2019 09:07

Haha @Todaythiscouldbe I will plug the battery pack in!

I gave in & put it on her phone with my account, which worked.

@mama1980 the family ticket is £1 more expensive for just me and the two girls so I went with day tickets. Still cheaper than on the bus.

So now I just have two tickets to manage; for me and dd2.
