TMI warning. Uterus lining or miscarriage? Picture included

Sorry to include such a graphic photo I’m just so worried. Started bleeding today and about 10 minutes I felt my vagina open and ran to the toilet and found this. Is this a miscarriage or uterus lining? I’m in agony now 😩

How far along are you? It could be part of your mucous plug? Do you have the number for your maternity ward?

I’m not pregnant from what I know of. A very slim chance but I don’t think so

Could be a decidual cast (I think). I had one after my actual mc but I think it was the whole of the lining coming almost at once, I’d passed the sac previously. So, it seems unlikely to be a mc, especially if you didn’t know you were pregnant.

I would call 111 for advice as you are concerned and it us unusual. Are you soaking a pad an hour or less? If so get advice immediately.

I had something similiar. I was on the toliet and passed a clot so big, it made a loud impact sound with the water. I've never seen anything like that.

Weirdly now having googled this I am pretty sure I have had this happen to me twice. I was probably too in shock to ask anyone (and the first time google wasn't a thing!). Kinda glad I know know I didn't pass an alien or something Grin

I've had this before, do you take the pill? Mine was due to thicker lining due to the contraceptive I was taking, and was part of my period although scary at the time.
