MIL birthday gift suggestions around £100 and light for shipping?

I need to send my MIL a birthday gift and she lives in South Africa. I am looking to spend around £100 and it needs to be light so it's not too expensive to ship. Any suggestions?

Beauty gift set? Elemis do nice ones or Clarins?

You can order from Amazon for delivery in SA..

Age? What sort of thing does she like? Is she an expat who would appreciate classic British things?

She was born in the UK but has lived in Africa nearly her whole life. She does visit occasionally though to visit family.

Jewellery, or some high quality knitwear like a cashmere type cardigan.

Most medium to large retailers ship to SA directly and you can just add giftwrap option at checkout.

  • Monica Vinader/Missoma for nice but fun jewellery
  • Lovely skincare as someone mentioned above - Feelunique.com is great for overseas shipping (I use it a lot)

Personalised painting? I have recommended an artist on here before who I had do a few paintings for me - of my mothers family home and a few cityscapes for £40 each. Can send details if interested but hesitant to post as my account got deleted before when I did!

DH assisted the children with Mother's Day shopping and I got a beautiful silk kimono dressing gown from NOTHS. I'm assuming it was under £100, super light to post and utterly beautiful!
