What could be causing this? Random sickness.

2 weeks ago,DS age 10, started feeling sick an hour after having a chippy tea. He was sick at 1am and 3am, no temp but warm to touch and slept most of the next day.

Yesterday, he came home from swimming feeling sick, said all could taste was chlorine and said he’d swallowed a lot (playing under the water). He was sick 6 hours later, loads of it,mostly water. He’s been fine since he got up, ate a big breakfast but now feels sick again.

Would this worry you? I’m hyper paranoid about digestive issues as I have IBD (mine started with sickness).

Would not worry me. I would treat that as 2 isolated incidents. One of those things. Twice.

Thank you, I really needed to hear that! It’s soul destroying watching and waiting to see if your child has the same health issues that have made you’re own life so difficult. I catastrosize (don’t know if that’s the right word for it!) every time he’s had sickness or diarrhoea. I wish I could relax about it. It’s harder as he’s getting older because little kids do tend to pick up lots of funny bugs but not so much at this age.
