Party invite dress code 'extremely glamourous'. What do I wear?

Bear in mind I don't even do standard glamourous, what do I wear? At the age of 34 I really don't know how to dress up.

If it helps, I'm 5'7 and size 10-12, brown hair, fairly pale.

That's beautiful Strava but I have a feeling I'd be massively over dressed! I'd rather be undressed than overdressed. Unless I'm getting the wrong idea and they really do want us to turn up to their 2 bed flat in evening gowns

Difficult. When I hear glamour, I think of something provocative and not altogether elegant.

Something like this? With a fur stole and elbow length gloves. (Cigarette holder optional!)

What sort of people are the hosts? Are they sophisticated types or could they mean 'glamorous' in a loose sense of just having a nice frock, plenty of bling and a face full of that overdone makeup everyone goes for now?

The PWB jumpsuit would fit the bill perfectly, with some good accessories

Anyways I think the very dress you have chosen is casual.

I think you need to ask the hosts to elaborate before you purchase anything.

I would probably try to channel the old Hollywood stars such as Greta Garbo, Vivien Leigh, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly.

I'd just wear a LBD and do the 'glamour' with make up and a trip to the hairdressers (Jessica Rabbit style )

How about something like this. Your tall enough to get away with no heels but perhaps a jewelled flat sling back?
