Did you find one in the end?
I have found a couple that are standard cot size (120cm long)

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 22/05/2019 22:17

I’m not the OP but would love to hear what you found, @NameChange30.

www.mothercare.com/travel-cots/hauck-sleep-n-play-go-travel-cot---lazy/396256.html

It says the length is 125cm but I think the mattress is 120cm. You can find the same cot (different colours/designs) on loads of websites but £35 at Mothercare was the best price I found.

I also found a John Lewis one but it's more expensive and the reviews are mixed!

Hauck one is considerably bigger than standard. Our 'long' 3.5 year old can still sleep comfortably on the mattress.

Apparently Aldi sells the Hauck cot in their baby events sometimes, I'll have to keep an eye out.

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 23/05/2019 12:41

Thanks, @NameChange30!
We’ve actually got the Hauck cot - I was hoping there might be some miraculously enormous travel cot out there I didn’t know about. DD’s a big 5-year-old but needs to be in a cot for safety when we’re away from home.

thinkingcapon · 23/05/2019 12:59

I've not found one that's cot bed size. We've tried a couple from friends but they were a disaster!

Is she in a cot bed at home?
Would a bed guard or something like this be ok?

EssentialHummus · 23/05/2019 13:00

I came on to say Hauck, we had this dilemma a few weeks ago.

NameChange30 · 23/05/2019 13:01

Cross post, I was replying to Something but it could apply to you too OP!

thinkingcapon · 23/05/2019 13:12

Maybe yes. He's a really shit sleeper so whatever we put him in hasn't really worked ! I just think he's like me and needs lots of space to move about in but still needs to be "contained"!

DD’s in a low toddler bed at home with a mattress right next to it (she always ends up on the floor). I’m also thinking of getting one of those inflatable beds like in your link and taking it with us on holiday as well as the Hauck cot, and then deciding which to use once we see how safe the room is for her to roam around in.
