Sicky baby and nursery

So I’ve just been wondering about this. Baby is due to start nursery in August so it’s a little way off and he will be 9months old but he’s a refluxy baby and also has CMPA so he’s usually sick at least once every day even though he’s medicated.

I’ve been reading that nursery’s won’t let babies go in if they’ve been sick within 48hours? How would this work? It’s not like he’s poorly or contagious so would this not count or is this a rule for older kids who can keep things in their stomachs?

Brand new to Mumsnet. Would love some advice please. My last Grandchild was born in 2000 and have just found out my son and his partner are pregnant with their first baby. YIPPEE. Trouble is I for the life of me cannot remember when to start buying gifts for baby. Should I wait? She is 9 weeks at the moment. Thank you.

Sickness rule is usually just for bugs. Just explain it to the staff and I’m sure they’ll understand.

@Janoscar probably best to start your own thread as you’ve replied on a different thread.
