I took this photo on my walk in the woods this morning, should I be looking for a pile of disturbed earth?😁

Small pile maybe? I'm assuming campers have been to the loo

Quality spade. I'd be more concerned someone was digging up bluebells than burying a body. Unless you were walking your dog, because they always find bodies?

Is it a known place for badgers and foxes?

It’s not suitable for digging deep holes, i.e six foot deep ones.

This is a flat shovel, and is used mostly for edging, transplanting woody perennials and small shrubs due to how easy it is to cut through roots, and trenching.
