Am unable to attend my cousins wedding as it's abroad. She's the bride.
I really wanna send her and her partner a really special gift before the fly out to get married to show that I'm thinking of them. but I'm having difficulty with ideas.

I did think about something old something new something borrowed something blue but is that something that is traditionally given by the mother of the bride?

I want something that is unique and personal...

What was the nicest wedding present you received?

Or any suggestions welcomed!

I'd send a print. It's easy to send as it'll be in a tube and there are so many print companies around now, including what you can get on places like Etsy. If they have a special song that's their first song, you could get an A3 personalised print of the song lyrics with their names and the date. They can frame it themselves according to their own taste.

We got a beautiful lamp that is in our hallway. It's large plain and off white. I wouldn't have spent money on such and expensive lamp.
WE also got vouchers that I put towards a beautiful queen ann chair (not everyone's style I know)

Alternatively you could give money in foreign currency

Or a voucher for a nice meal when they get home

My dds best friends mum had a picture made for us, it was us, with our wedding venue in the background and was appliqué in all lovely vintage fabrics. A bit Lauren Child design wise and she put it in a very neutral but lovely frame. It's so lovely and we touched that she'd done something so thoughtful.
I know she's a big Etsy, not on the high st fan, so I'm guessing that's where she got it!

We were given a 'night in, morning after' hamper from our lovely friends. It had vintage champagne glasses, a bottle of champagne and some luxury popcorn and treats, cozy socks for us, plus new pyjamas for our little ds (he was 3 months at the time) and then it also had naice tea, coffee, mugs, a mini caffatiere and some oatcakes and jams in too. And a card telling us to have a lovely date night and breakfast on them. I loved it, so thoughtful and it was so much fun digging in to it and finding all these treasures.
