They’re just pot bound?

3luckystars · 13/04/2019 20:28

They have grown into the shape of the pot, it's amazing.

What do I do with them?

Wellmeetontheledge · 13/04/2019 20:29

Put them in a bigger pot :) with more soil. They do look cool!

3luckystars · 13/04/2019 20:30

They are growing so fast, they have grown about an inch bigger than the pot in a week. Sorry if the pictures are not great.

I mean, can I eat them or do something with them? Sorry for my stupidity, I thought they would be like watercress, not this mutant stuff.

Hmmm, I’d be careful they don’t spread and take over your house in the night!

3luckystars · 13/04/2019 20:44

That's what I was thinking too! Should I put it outside?
I'm worried I will get up in the morning and it will be like that scene in Gladiator with it up to my waist.

Wheatgrass is generally used as a nutritional supplement, OP, in the form of wheatgrass juice or powder.

AwkwardSquad · 13/04/2019 20:48

It’s a bit Gwyneth Paltrow tbh

Palominoo · 13/04/2019 20:50

Fabulous experiment for your child.

Well done. Time to repot though.

Bezalelle · 13/04/2019 21:48

Urghhhh. That makes me shudder. I know, the magic of nature and all that. But... urghhh.

museumum · 13/04/2019 21:53

One week???!!!
Wow.
Is it an invasive species? I assume not native? Wtf would happen if it got out into gardens/nature?

SavoyCabbage · 13/04/2019 21:54

The pot is too tiny at the bottom compared to the top.

Guyliner · 13/04/2019 22:10

Falafel19 · 13/04/2019 22:24

I'm confused. Why is it creepy?

RosaWaiting · 13/04/2019 22:28

not sure what I was expecting from this title, but not that.

more a horror film monster made from wheatgrass Grin

3luckystars · 14/04/2019 08:43

It's even bigger this morning, it is growing in front of my eyes. Yes the pot is way too small but I thought they would be tiny little watercress / shamrock size seeds.

It's the roots I think is creepy.

@RosaWaiting here is a picture for you Grin
