How to find details of parking ticket

Sorry if this is in the wrong group but I couldn't figure out where to put it.

So we recently moved out of a rented property and today I've gone back to the property to ask for any letters. Unfortunately the new tenants said they put all the post back in the post box with return to sender. He mentioned my husband got a parking ticket. Now we have no idea where it's from

Is there any authority we can contact to find out about the ticket? I've considered dvla but not sure. Don't want to leave the ticket for ages as it will only go up.

Thanks

Has he now changed his address for the vehicle and updated his driving licence? These should then mean that the ticket will go to the right place.

How would they have known that without opening your mail?

Are you sure they weren't sticking the boot in because they are cross you haven't paid for a Royal Mail redirection service?

Address is now updated but wasn't updated at the time.

He mentioned that it said parking ticket on the letter. Normally it doesn't say it on the outside so I'm a bit confused too

The thing is we don't know who the ticket is from if it's from a council or driving in a red box or one of the private companies. Just concerned that when we find out the price may have gone up a lot and possibly involving courts

You'll have to ride it out. There's no way of finding out. I think the likelihood is he was having a pop

For future. You can set up a mail redirection before you even move from a set date....
