Girls pants

I would like to buy some pants for my dd6 some pants that pull up nearer to her waist than her hips. Anyone bought some of this description lately?

I've found Next pants to be more substantial than other brands- thicker and better coverage.

Sunflower101 · 13/04/2019 19:06

Thank you, will have a look at those.

That’s what I want to buy, thicker material too.

Try Boden!! My dd LOVES their pants, now they are expensive but they are amazing quality and she has had a set since she was 2 (now 6!) and I swear there is not one thread out of place on them!! They are thick and not elasticy, they are so soft!

mustdrinkwaternotwine · 13/04/2019 19:35

I always size up with DD's pants and tend to get her shorts rather than pants.

FourHigh · 13/04/2019 19:38

I like next pants, especially the ones with the more elastic sides rather than the frilly ones in other shops which seem to pull after a time. I usually size up a bit with pants as well to make them more sizeable - especially as they always go in the tumble dryer!

My granddaughter prefers the shorts style at Marks and Spencers.

booellesmum · 13/04/2019 19:41

When mine were that age they preferred the boxers from h&m.

jenniuol · 13/04/2019 19:41

Definitely agree with sizing up and that short style generally tend to be better.

SSRainbow · 13/04/2019 19:41

H&M if you’re looking for cheaper options, excellent shape and higher waist

FreeButtonBee · 13/04/2019 19:50

Arket do great girls boxer style pants in nice heavy cotton. They can be hard to find for smaller girls (and my 6yo is still wearing age 3-4) but nice range there.

Sunflower101 · 13/04/2019 19:58

Ooh, so many replies, thank you. Good idea to size up too, not thought of that, yet a brilliant idea too.

It’s just that she is so keen to show off her acrobatics and I find some pants to be a bit skimpy to be on show!

Next ones are the best, cheaper ones dont sit aswell as the next ones.

WanderingTrolley1 · 13/04/2019 21:03
