Bad back from bed?

Hi, I'm currently on holiday, and the bed is very soft (I'm used to sleeping on firm mattresses). The first night left me with a bit of a cricked neck, which wasn't too bad, but I've just been woken up with horrible upper back pain, that is radiating up through my neck and occasionally to my head. Any tips? Yesterday I found exercise helped ease the pain, but I've tried a few yoga moves this morning which have just been too painful to be of any use.

I'm here until Thursday, anyway on not waking up in agony every morning?

Is there any way you can move stuff around so you can put the mattress on the floor?
Push bed to wall of room? Flip it up and move it?

Have you checked the bed slats? Can you alter them to make the bed harder?
