Just want a pity post. Got some type of flu like virus and feeling absolutely hideous. Can't sleep because I'm so uncomfortable.

Also, I'm 31 and married with a kid of my own and still all I want when ill is my own mum!!

Oh no :( can you rest tomorrow? For tonight can you try and prop yourself up and listen to a podcast / watch TV ? Or would a shower help?

Make sure you drink loads and take paracetamol.

Oh a shower might help you know...if I can drag myself to the bathroom

Meant to have a day out with the in laws tomorrow but think DH will have to take ds on his own

Also awake, had a chest infection all week, now got awful period pains, just want to sleep but wide awake coughing

Awake with period pains here too. I’ve given up trying to go back to sleep so have made coffee and I’m enjoying the quiet until the small people wake up in around an hour.

I'm awake too. Caught DD's vomiting bug. Fortunately only spewed once but (apols in advance for TMI) world fell out of arse earlier and I feel so yucky.

Awake due to barking dog in the distance. Who would leave a dog to continuously bark all night?

Ugh barking dogs are the worst

My cold and flu meds have kicked in and I now feel better but am wide awake still. And also hungry!

You might be surprised.

Last summer I had a t least 5 that would visit not long after dusk, they came right up to the back door. I think as much for the water as the food.

I've seen one out the front a couple of times and the food is being eaten but I have not seen them at the back so far.

I'm up too, dd2 woke me up at 345 complaining of tummy ache. Currently cuddled on the sofa with hot water bottles, sick bucket at the ready and watching my little pony movies.....

Going to be a long day 😣

Feeling rank too been up since 5am. Have had the Tom tits and nausea since Monday now and it won't stop and period pains joined on Thursday. Feel terrible. Meant to be going out for a meal later Confused

I’ve been awake since half 5 when the cat decided she wanted out! Went downstairs to let her out and found dog has shit all over the kitchen 🤢🤢😷 good morning world 😂
