Everyday naice items you'd recommend

I'm wondering what items Mumsnet Tera would recommend as a cut above the rest but in the sense of everyday items- more that because they would them better rather than just based on a brand name etc.
For example I'll only let DH buy Andrex premium quilts now as it's my favourite over others

President butter. I never used to eat toast until someone I stayed with gave me a piece with that on. Butter has gone really dear now (even the value/basics I keep in the freezer for baking is nearly £2 in some places). The family know not to touch it. 👌

Fairy washing up liquid, and all their laundry products.

I love President butter too, so much tastier than the rest.

Glitterbaby17 · 13/04/2019 03:00

Yes to the pip and nut nut butters!

Proper butter - makes toast a treat for easy dinners

I love Fage yogurt - it is nicer than own brand so worth it for me

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 13/04/2019 09:15

You know why President is so good? It's the only spreadable butter that uses cream to make it mobile. All the others use vegetable oil. Which is why it's the only butter we'll give DGS.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 13/04/2019 09:17

Also: Asda ground coffee, Lidl antipasto meats, and Heck sausages.

PositivelyPeach · 13/04/2019 09:25

Kielecki mayonnaise is even better. If you can't find it in Tesco, you can buy it in Polish shops.

I just tried Cully and Sully soup for the first time and it was excellent, so that would be my suggestion.

downcasteyes · 13/04/2019 11:25

I second Yorkshire Gold tea for a traditional British cuppa.

Also Colgate Total. My teeth feel really clean using it.

Making a mental note to try President butter.

LuxLucetInTenebris · 13/04/2019 11:30

DennisSkinnersMolotov · 13/04/2019 11:46

Method almond scented wooden floor cleaner. The fragrance is lovely and lasts really well. It's like you've mopped with Amaretto.

ineedaknittedhat · 13/04/2019 13:18

Twinings tea
Nice bars of soap
