What songs did you like as a small child that your baby/toddler now likes?

Just that really. Looking for any good oldies that I've forgotten about, that my 17 month old might like.

Obviously he likes a lot of nursery rhymes but I'm looking for regular songs that were in the charts to entertain him.

Current favourites are Yellow Submarine, Frog song, Bye Bye Baby and Domonick the Donkey.

I was 15 and a big Spice Girls fan when my niece was born. Said niece is now 23 and going to see them in concert this year Grin

Ah yeah we played him Wannabe and he really liked that, much to his dad's disgust 😂

My dad used to sing to me Matchstalk men and Matchstalk cats and Dogs. My DD has to have this sung to her every night before she goes to sleep. I don't mind though as I love it !!!!

Not from toddlerhood but we’re all quite likely to be friends found dancing around the kitchen to ABBA.

As tinies it was Puff the magic dragon, Wind the Bobbin up, I can make a rainbow, Five fat sausages, Head shoulders, knees and toes, Frere Jaque, Un elephant qui se balancait, Une souris verte and sleepy songs like Brahms lullaby and Kumbya.
